WatchPAT ONE: the first disposable polysomnograph

the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). It offers the same ease of use, reliability and accuracy of the other WatchPAT polysomnographs, while allowing the patient to monitor himself at home in total safety, without having to return the device to the medical center. The WP1 in addition to being a diagnostic system for the detection of sleep-related respiratory disorders is able to provide a hypnogram by detecting the following phases: - REM sleep (Rapid Eye Movement); - Light sleep; - Deep sleep; - Vigil. By monitoring peripheral arterial tonometry (Section "PAT"), WP1 provides on the basis of it the Respiratory Disorder Index ('PRDI' "), the Apnea-Hypoapnea Index (" PAHI '") and the hypnogram (PSTAGES ). A simple smartphone app transmits the study data to the cloud which the doctor can then access at any time.
